Curtis Armstrong is an American actor known for his portrayal of Booger in Revenge of the Nerds films, of Metatron on Supernatural, and of Principal Dawson on The New Girl. He was also the co-host and co-creator of the TBS reality television competition King of the Nerds.
His first role came in the 1983 hit film Risky Business. However, he is probably best known for the role of Booger in Revenge of the Nerds and its sequels. His other films include Better Off Dead, One Crazy Summer, Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story, Ray, and Akeelah and the Bee.
In addition to his many acting credits, Curtis is a noted Sherlockian. His new memoir “Revenge of the Nerd, Or . . . The Singular Adventures of the Man Who Would Be Booger” will be released 07/11/2017 by St. Martin’s Press. In it, he explores his public identity as a nerd, his love of Sherlock Holmes, and the many roles that have made him a beloved actor for over three decades.
